Post Discussion: Factors Influencing Longevity

Chapter 2 in Ferrini & Ferrini (2013) lists a number of factors that influence longevity. For each one, write a brief paragraph describing the impact of these genetic and environmental factors on your own longevity. How will your family history, gender, and race/ethnicity affect you as you age? What environmental factors could you change to live longer?
