Research the Sarbanes Oxley act, and prepare a 800 to a 1050 word paper on the act. Why was it passed. What affect has it had on public corporations and its leaders, its board of directors, CPA firms, and the government. Discuss in detail section 404 of the act, and render your opinions about the act, and on the accountability provisions of the act including the penalties that may be imposed for non-compliance.
