SECTION 2: Assessment Criteria
Assessment criteria for the written business and growth plans:
1) The growth plan should have an executive summary, a clear statement of the problem, the methodology adopted to research the problem, an analysis of options, strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and of problems, and of approaches to cope with these problems. Academic literature should also be drawn upon in debating issues relating to the plan. ecommendations should be clear and follow on from the research.
2) The ingenuity and thoroughness displayed in gathering information
3) The depth of analysis in presenting the results. Simple description is not enough. .
4) In the case of plans we are also looking for imagination, feasibility and realism.
5) Structure and presentation. Key sections should be clearly demarcated (as in 1 above)
and there should be proper referencing of sources- internet and literature.
