Select an information system with which you are familiar, and which you feel needs to be improved, based on your experiences as an employee, customer, other system user, or system owner. Switch roles and perspectives as necessary to evaluate and report on the following:
Describe the nature of the information system you have selected. Describe the organization that owns and maintains the information system. Identify the baseline problems and opportunities, per task 1.1. (pg.169) Develop a preliminary problem statement, using the format shown in Figure 5-8. (pg. 171) Your answers to the above questions should be formatted into an APA style paper. Your paper should be clear and concise, consisting of three- to five- double-spaced pages.
