You should be able to articulate both the “for” and “against” argument and draw a conclusion based on evidence. Obviously, given that the subject of our seminar is in a state of flux and under rapid development, you do not need to draw a firm conclusion but be hard pressed to see how you reached them except through your own opinion.
Speaking of which, it is fine toward the end of your paper to include your own perspective on the topic, but that be the primary focus of the paper and please make sure you clearly state what your opinion as opposed to the conclusion you reach on the evidence.
