This project is investigate the mechanical properties of the concrete rebar using carbon fibre tube reinforced steel bars an alternative aggregate. Experimental works include the preparation of concrete samples of different proportion of the carbon fibre tubes; the tests of the material properties, including tensile strength and Near-surface strength. Its behaviour is then characterized using an ever developed concrete model for ANSYS software. At last, use the ANSYS to simulate the material failure under impact force
