This APA Resource Assignment requires you to find sources for your argumentative research paper. Next week you will hand in your Rough Draft, and if you choose to change some sources, that is acceptable.
Step 1: Create an ‘APA’ sample cover page. Provide a title that relates to your chosen topic for the argumentative research paper.
Step 2: Go to the online library resources using your library bar code (Use the Library Tab above).Search for 2 full-text articles found in academic journals, and 1 website on the topic you’ve chosen for your argumentative research paper. (The key here is to search for articles and a website you believe to be relevant and truthful).
Use the academic databases in the Virtual Library (i.e. Ebscohost), and write a brief 2-3 sentence summary of each article .
Write 2 or 3 sentences about the website explaining why you believe this website may be a good reference when doing research on the subject matter.
Step 3: Provide full citations of the articles/website on the “References” page in proper APA format. Submit to the above link. You may use any journal, but as an example, here are directions for finding an article from the Harvard Business Review in our Virtual Library.
Access the Virtual Library from the Post University Online portal
Click on Ebscohost
Enter your library barcode (contact .edu”>library@post.edu if you do not already have one) & log in
Click on the second listing, HealthBusiness FullText, Title List
Type in Harvard Business Review, click on Browse
Scroll down and click on the article in the desired format. Remember, this assignment is as much about reading and following directions as it is about being able to do citations.
